The Matthew Talbot Chapter

Of the

National Society Daughters of the

American Revolution

is an active and welcoming chapter. It was organized Jan 23, 1914 by Mrs. S.W.. Foster, Georgia State Regent And Mrs. J. H. Walker ,the first regent of our Chapter. We have 33 members from the Walton County, GA area and meet seven times a year on the last Tuesday of the month, September through April in Monroe, GA. . Each regular meeting includes the Ritual, Pledges, American’s Creed, President General’s Message, National Defense Report, and information about the Constitution. We have wonderful speaker from around Georgia.

Membership
Eligibility
Any woman is eligible for membership who is no
less than eighteen years of age and can prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor
who aided in achieving American indepen-
dence. She must provide documentation
for each statement of birth, marriage, and
death.
